Welcome to the North Attleborough Cultural Council Website
![]()
The North Attleborough Cultural Council is the local governmental representative of the Massachusetts Cultural Council (MCC), the state agency that supports public programs and funds educational activities in the arts, humanities and sciences. As part of an innovative grass-roots arts-funding program unique in the nation, the Massachusetts Legislature appropriates funds each year, and charges the local cultural councils in each town with the responsibility to allocate the funds for expenditures in the arts, humanites and sciences which they deem most appropriate and beneficial for their particular community. Each year, the North Attleborough Cultural Council receives and reviews dozens of grant applications for programs in the arts, humanities, and sciences. In addition, the Council sponsors the Art Festival each June, and seeks community input on other ways to promote cultural events in North Attleborough. We welcome you to our website, and invite you to join us in this important mission.

NorthArts Artist Registry
The NACC has announced a campaign to get local artists -- whether they be painters, sculptors, writers, poets, craftsmen, or musicians -- registered on the NACC Website. We have so much local talent in our area, but without a centralized listing of that talent, it goes largely unknown and untapped. The NACC would like to organize showings, readings, and concerts, but there currently is no resource which allows us to locate potential performers for these events. The NorthArtsRegistry not only will help local artists to network with each other, but to get their names and samples of their work publicized in the larger community and in the media. If you are a local artist, please consider mailing or e-mailing your registration form today. Forms can be mailed to NACC NorthArts Registry, PO Box 61, North Attleboro MA 02761, or registration information can be e-mailed to rmd4@comcast.net.
For a copy of the registration form, please click on the "Register" tab at the RIGHT SIDE TOP of this screen.
